Fixed Price Testing  

SOFTWARE TESTING OUTSOURCING

As a global organisation, HSQA has a number of locations which enables us to provide rapid and flexible services to our clients at competitive rates. These include remote testing (UK, NL) and off-shoring (China), and ensures a cost effective, independent test ware specification for your project that could maximise the end quality.

We therefore have the ability to identify a delivery model that will be most suited to our client, which may involve a combination of the above delivery centres.

What does HSQA

Within the Fundamental Test Process HSQA provides several outsourcing services. Primarily test specification services, secondly execution of these test sets.


The other three activities of the Fundamental Test Process (Planning & Control, Preparation and Completion) should be managed at the client's office. HSQA can provide on-site consultants to assist in managing these activities, for an overview of these roles, see our consultancy services.

Test specification

Based on ISTQB, IEEE and ISO and in line with TestFrame® and TMap® test methods, HSQA provides test sets in MS Excel. See example.

Test execution

HSQA is able and willing to execute previous specified test designs.

Fixed Price Testing

HSQA has developed a special approach for those clients who have a fixed budget, fixed number of resources and / or a fixed amount of time: "Fixed Price Testing".

APPROACH

Below is a description of a testware specification project with a typical HSQA cooperation model. Please note that a real project will be a variation of this general theme. We provide this example to illustrate the structure, project initialization processes, and workflow of a HSQA project.

Pre-contract stage

First contact. HSQA will send you an email with an introduction. You can directly contact our dedicated sales staff at: sales@hsqa.eu. The process continues with a preliminary discussion of the client's testing needs.
If required a limited free trail to value our testing capabilities, level of communication, project management skills, etc;

Contract stage

HSQA will work out the service agreement and related work orders including the project information such as human resources, payment terms, project goal etc for client's review and signature.

Preparation and planning stage

Team establishment. The testing team will be formed according to client's needs.
Knowledge transfer. The client will provide documentation and other necessary information required to start test specification.
Online project management tool preparation. The system administrator will create accounts for HSQA team members and the client's staff who require access to the system.

Execution stage

Daily work report. Work reports are delivered on a daily basis. Bug and progress reports are delivered continuously as well as tracking and managing changes of requirements.
Communication. HSQA strongly believes that questions which are timely asked, frankly discussed and resolved are the essential element to a successful test ware specification.
Account manager continuously tracks client's comments on team's performance.
Note: We offer adaptable testing teams. If necessary, we can easily resize the testing team (add or reduce team members), change testing technologies, etc.

Acceptance stage

If the project has a clear testware delivery point, HSQA will provide a final version of the testware for review and acceptance.

Post-acceptance stage

Testimonials and or references are appreciated.
HSQA retains organisational knowledge of the client's products for easy re-starting of future projects.
